Air condition pump shell castings produced by resin sand casting process. This kind of casting are produced by gray iron material, material grade is HT250 (GJL250), and it is very important parts for air conditions. Important requirement is the surface quality which will have influence on the airflow; another important thing is the defects which will have influence on the sealing of castings during working. The main rejected castings during machining are because of casting defects. We don't allowed repairing during machining, so any defect will casue castings rejected.
The most important factor to produce qualified castings is to make right process control duting production. We pay attention on foundry materials, coating process, molding process and pouring control. To prevent casting defects from gating system, we also use 100% ceramic gating system to be sure no sand or other things get involved into the cavity.
We also produce a variety of customized gray iron parts used for different kind of machines by resand sand casting process.
